he would be planting corn one year and puanets the next, rotating the crops. I don't really know where his seed comes from. I was already sad that the trees were gone but totally accepted that it was his property to do with as he liked, but I feel that this is a threat to all our health and well-being. When I have sent letters to my Senators and congressman there reply is that the population of the world is increasing and we have to feed everyone, and that GMOs have been tested and are safe. It's a huge problem for all of us, we must stand together on this.

My score for my carbon foioprtnt was that I need 6 earths to survive. No I wasn't very surprised about my score because know I waste a lot of energy, but I will do better. This activity made me think that I have to be more concious about the way I live and work throughout each year, so I need to reduc reuse and most importantly recycle. Some ways that I can reduce energy in my household by turning off more lights when I leave, and by reducing my water usage.

Yes, thank you Ann. Volunteers are bringing the petitions to other community meetings where the response is much more congenial. One is not so skeptical about a petition if it being offered by someone you know and have something in common with. A little different approach than standing in front of TJ's and New Frontiers which are being somewhat hostile to signature gatherers. I have to admit though even I try to avoid them. I have signed both the death penalty and Nukes petitions. Our GMO petition will be available on or about Feb 17th. Do keep a look out for our volunteers with the Label GMO tees. Thank you. All the best Ann.

Thanks. I thought it was quite brilliant of the organizers to take this approach to labeling GMO's. Since GMO's can be a very contentious subject, depending who you are talking with, a right to know what we are eating is something we can all agree on and that's a good thing. Already three other States have introduced initiatives, Vermont, Washington and Oregon. And two other countries, Costa Rica and China have just refused to grow any more GMO crops. It seems the tide is turning. What a good thing you are doing too with getting the word out about Wheatgrass too. We are making a difference. Thanks.

Hi, are you supporting the ballot initiative to shut down California's nuclear power plants?

You can learn more about it here:

http://sanonofresafety.org/california-nuclear-initiative/about-california-nuclear-initiative/

Did you know that radiation from Japan's nuclear meltdowns in March 2011 was found in the air, milk, water, veggies, etc. in the U.S. ?

GMO's in food are awful and so is radiation from nuclear power plants!

The California nuclear initiative requires over 500,000 signatures of California registered voters...please spread the link!

Here it is again:

Good luck on both measures!
